Much of the most important literature from the ancient world was written in Attic or Hellenistic Greek. This includes the New Testament, the philosophical works of Plato and Aristotle, the tragedy and comedy of Euripides and Aristophanes, and the historical works of Herodotus and Thucydides. In this fun and interactive workshop, Greek instructor Regan Barr demystifies the Greek alphabet with a quick phonetic introduction to each letter, then challenges the audience to use their newly acquired knowledge through a series of “pop quizzes.”
