We have a crisis of identity in our nation because too many have allowed their children to be told who they are by a secular culture. It is time we reclaim our true identity as sons and daughters of the King and speak that identity over our children. I will be sharing about how I have been using Music, Art & Drama MAD Society to impart God's identity to people. We are to be imitators of God (Ephesians 5:1). God imparted identity to many in the Bible: Abraham was called a father of nations, Gideon was called courageous warrior, and David was identified as a man after God's heart years before he was anointed king. God was calling things that were not as though they were (Romans 4:17), enabling them to step into their identity. As parents and teachers, we need to follow God's example of blessing those in our area of influence by speaking truths consistent with God's promises about who we are in Christ.
