A man should not be a lover OR a fighter — they should be unapologetically both. They should be both lions AND lambs — warriors AND poets. In raising your kids with this attitude, you ensure they will become adults who embody the strengths of the warrior: grit, long-suffering, fearlessness, leadership, and teamwork. Additionally, a child will grow into the attributes of a poet: romantic, wise, educated, inspired, and creative. In the unification of these varying strengths, your child will grow up to be able to tackle huge obstacles while still being able to hold fast to the relationships and ideals that make life worth living. You must teach your children to become warrior poets.
