About

Larry has been teaching ASL for more than 30 years in a variety of settings: birth-college and beyond. He specializes in working with children and adults with disabilities and those who are typically developing. He created a live, online ASL curriculum for his niece, who is homeschooled, and their coop. That lead to opening up classes to more homeschool families and coops. Along with these ASL classes, he teaches adult community classes and for families who have Deaf children and children with special needs. Larry worked with his sister to develop a curriculum that meets the unique needs of homeschool families- live, remote, a video curriculum students can access anywhere, and affordable. And yes, this program meets the needs for those who want to take ASL for high school credit- learning conversational ASL while also learning Deaf history and culture.

I have taught ASL to all learners for more than 30 years- birth-12th grade, college, community and corporate trainings. My sister, who homeschools my niece, asked me to develop an ASL curriculum for homeschool families, so I did. This program offers live, direct instruction via Zoom. The curriculum is on a flash drive, with videos and power points, for guided instruction for independent practice and learning.
