Janine Deems has been helping students reach their educational goals as a teacher the past 22 years. She reveals that her most important student was her daughter who she had the joy of homeschooling 8 years and helping graduate high school with a bachelor's degree, debt-free. She lives in Fort Wort, Texas with her daughter and husband James of 25 years, and is the founder of Smarter by 1 Degree and Compass Virtual Academy. She offers a self-paced, dual credit alternative to CLEP or dual enrollment.
