Dr. Holly Brand

Dr. Holly Brand loves Jesus, her husband, her children, her family, teaching her MBU students, her friends, dancing, and cupcakes. She has been privileged to serve as a professor of psychology at Missouri Baptist University since 2000. Prior to MBU she taught psychology for three years at Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville. Holly earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from Southeast Missouri State University. After gaining experience in the field of psychology as a mental health caseworker at the Community Counseling Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, she earned her master's degree and Ph.D. in psychology at Saint Louis University. Holly's specialty areas include child, teen, and adult development.
Holly is blessed to be married to Todd Brand, who is president of Brand Asset Management Group, a wealth management firm in Chesterfield. They have three terrific children, Tanner, Walker, and Tori, who provide her with plenty of examples to use in her teaching of human development.
In addition to her MBU teaching life, Holly Brand engages in public speaking and writing, and has authored books entitled Christ & Culture, and Christ & Culture 2.0.
