This workshop presents an introduction to artificial intelligence ("AI") for homeschooling parents or educators and their children. Three basic questions are answered by the end of this course:

1. What is AI in a literal sense? The explanation compares and contrasts AI with traditional software and apps.

2. What is the potential of AI? The explanation presents both the good and the bad, with special emphasis on safety measures.

3. Where and how does AI show up in everyday life? The answer presents the obvious, the subtle, and the invisible.

Throughout this workshop, basic AI concepts, vocabulary, and jargon will be introduced using understandable and concrete terms. The workshop will conclude with an open-ended question-and-answer session. The intended audience for this workshop includes both parents and children.
