| Today’s culture is discipling our children to fear—fear responsibility, fear adulthood, fear speaking truth, and especially fear the very rights God has given to preserve life and liberty. In this session, Erich Pratt unpacks the biblical foundations of self-defense—from Exodus 22:2–3 to Jesus’ command in Luke 22:36 to Israel’s disarmament crisis in 1 Samuel 13—and shows why Christian parents must intentionally teach their children the true history and purpose of the Second Amendment. When kids aren’t grounded in these truths, they become more vulnerable to fear-based narratives that undermine courage, duty, and moral clarity. But when we train them with Scripture and the principles of a free people, we raise young men and women who can stand boldly, think critically, and lead with conviction in a world that desperately needs it. |
