About This Workshop

The essence of education is the presentation of knowledge and skills to students: the direct transfer of knowledge from one generation to the next. This is because in Christian traditional education, we believe that knowledge really exists and is to be handed on from one generation to the next, each generation hopefully adding to that fund of knowledge. The intellect must be developed. The child must be taught to love what is good. Memorization, repetition, and recitation are key components to education that have been thrown away by today's progressive educators. In this workshop, we will discuss the importance of memorization and how to bring it into your own homeschool.
