| Before a single school lesson can effectively be taught, children must learn the proper form of behavior for each setting. How do we sit at the table? What do we do with our hands while Mom reads aloud? What do we do with our colored pencils when we are done with them? This is the realm of manners, and it is through the teaching of manners that we help our students attend with their bodies and care for the people and things in their life. In this session we will look at the importance of manners in childhood education, and give a practical path for how to go about teaching our children good and beautiful ways to show love in action. |
