| Research emphasizes the importance of developing early reading foundational skills. Unfortunately, there are many children that fail to read proficiently due to lack of instruction in these early reading skills. They are often overlooked in hopes that children will "just get it" but can be detrimental later on. In this workshop I will show you exactly what early reading skills to introduce, how to introduce them, and at what age (starting at age 3). We'll discuss these essential skills and how mastery of them will lead to reading and spelling. |
