Davy Liu encountered academic challenges during his childhood but ultimately found success when he was hired by Walt Disney Animation Studios. There, he made significant contributions to beloved animated films such as “The Lion King,” “Mulan,” “Aladdin,” and “Beauty and the Beast.” Despite achieving his dream job, a pivotal experience while working on “Star Wars” prompted him to heed a higher calling. This led Davy to leave Disney and use his talents to serve the Lord. He founded Kendu Films in 2004, dedicated to producing fresh, innovative, Christ-centered content for children. His award-winning Bible picture books are now in development to be adapted into feature animated films, delivering the gospel message to children through exceptional artistry.
