About This Workshop

Talking to children about sex involves more than simply telling them what not to do. Both Christian and secular parent surveys reveal key conversations that many parents may be overlooking—discussions that can help their children navigate and resist sexual pitfalls. Even in a homeschool setting, it’s crucial that children are equipped to safely engage with a culture fixated on sex before they leave home. The most impactful conversations often begin when children are still young.

In this workshop, we will explore six types of conversations parents can have with their children, ages 5 to 18, to help them resist pornography and other sexual temptations. We’ll provide strategies to ease anxiety around discussing sex in a healthy way. You’ll learn specific language to explain God’s design for sexuality at various developmental stages. We’ll also demonstrate how emotional resilience can support sexual wholeness in children. By the end, you’ll gain confidence and practical ideas you can implement at home right away.
