Recently, the word “worldview” has become a household word particularly within the homeschool community. But like the phrase “critical thinking” it has become a buzz word that no one is willing to admit they don’t really understand. Hard questions about worldview need to be answered, like, is the world something to be interpreted or is there a common sense that we all share about the world? Is there only one way to define worldview? Does everyone have one? Can I get rid of a worldview and just be objective? In this talk, all these questions will be answered straight from Scripture. We will also investigate how humanistic philosophy has affected homeschooling materials and what we can do to ensure our children understand the world biblically.
