What is it that truly makes a student happy and blessed—as a student? What gives him true and lasting hope? It turns out that it is not a mere matter of technique but the cultivation of a disposition or mindset. In this seminar, we will consider those ways in which we create a context, classroom, and culture of academic hope. This will involve not just the ways we teach but our modeling of academic love and hope, our own display of an encouraging growth mindset.
