Every prevention organization in America recommends Families eat dinner as a Family at least 5 nights per week. For some, that is next to impossible. Vitally important, but if you can't eat 5 dinners as a Family, what can you do? It's not the meal that's important. It's not even the time spent. It's the conversation that takes place. In 2023, do parents even know what to say. Drugs have changed. Influences have changed. Language has changed. We developed and designed all the conversations that parents and guardians need to have with their children, as a Family and we made them for every single day of the year. We put 3 years together and this workshop delivers that content.
The threats to youth years ago have changed, and the terminology you thought you understood needs new understanding. What are the conversations you need to have? Where does connection fit in with this digital world? Where do we go from here?
Audience members will leave this workshop with the most up-to-date facts and data on current youth trends and how to prevent youth from travelling down the wrong path. All of the current trends are explained in detail and audience members will leave better equipped understanding signs, symptoms and solutions!
