This is the third of four sessions on the 7 Traits of Effective Parenting. You can attend 1 or all 4 to gain practical parenting tools. The 7 traits are based off of extensive research, scripture, and more than 20 years of counseling families. The 7 traits (Adaptability, Respect, Intentionality, Steadfast Love, Boundaries, Grace and Forgiveness, and Gratitude) are designed to help you effectively and confidently step into the transformational parent-child relationship.
What does it mean to be a loving parent? What are the benefits of warmth and sensitivity in parenting? In this workshop, you will find answers to these questions and more as you learn about the fourth and fifth traits of effective parenting. In over 20 years of counseling families, it has been evident to me that steadfast love and boundaries are foundational to the 7 Traits of Effective Parenting. You will learn about the research and Biblical foundations to the fourth and fifth of the 7 Traits of Effective Parenting and practical ways to understand and implement these into your day-to-day parenting. You will also continue to learn about raising contributors rather than consumers in God’s kingdom. I hope to save the last 10 minutes for questions.
