| Children can be exposed to ideas and questions about gender and identity that parents may feel ill-equipped to respond to. This workshop will address questions children often have when they encounter cultural ideologies about gender and identity that are confusing to them. Tips will be presented for having conversations that increase the chances a child will embrace their parent’s values and beliefs. In addition we will address helpful ways parents can respond if a child begins to question his or her own identity. |
