(Ages 12 - 99) Being creative is fun and seeing your creativity published in a good-looking book is even funner. So, if you tell stories to your kids/your kids tell stories to you or you write poetry/they write poetry or you/they take photos or you/they like to draw, you/they can easily, professionally, and economically publish their work and become a published author. Writing and Publishing Your First Book, presented by Jim Brewster, President of J2B Publishing (www.J2BLLC.com), will walk writers of any age through the steps involved in writing, publishing, printing, and marketing a book. He will point out the pitfalls to avoid, give valuable tips, and provide resources/links for your success. Since he writes children’s picture books himself, Mr. Brewster will also describe the process that is unique to picture books. Attendees will receive a copy of the presentation, a free book download, and a reservation for Mr. Brewster to listen to or review a book concept an attendee might want to present to him.
