About This Workshop

As the pandemic moves farther and farther into years past, the renewed energy and excitement for all the amazing things that DI does for our kids and for ourselves is growing by leaps and bounds. Helping to mold our children into adults who love to learn, who don’t fear failure, especially when trying something new, and who embrace working hard together to achieve their goals may sound impossible. However, this is at the center of DI, but these incredible life skills don’t just happen magically. They happen because we all work together to create an environment where our kids learn and grow into these amazing humans.
So how do we do it? We do by showing the same fearlessness and willingness to learn that we are expecting our children to demonstrate. If you’ve never done this before, then embrace the adventure! Be ready to learn lots of new things for yourself and about yourself.
Each season brings so much unknown to every team, but that’s exactly the point. How will they solve the challenge? How will they actually build what’s they’ve designed? How will they manage to get it all done? There’s only one way to find out… just get going. Everything we’ve ever done in our lives was once impossible to us but look at us now. Tying our own shoes, feeding ourselves, even holding down jobs and driving cars! Learning and working hard are all requirements for a Destination Imagination team, but so are having fun and not being afraid to fail, and that is where we come in! The successes and the frustrations are part of the whole journey and part of what makes the whole adventure so exciting
There are incredible moments on the DI horizon for you and your team, but that requires you and your kids to embrace the unknown. If you’re not quite sure how, please come spend an hour with us. We will walk you through the program and explain why DI is so beneficial to all kids!
