Zdenka De Gree

Zdenka studied computer science and business at The Prague University of Business and Economics. Shortly after finishing school, she participated in overthrowing the communist regime in Czechoslovakia in the 1989 Velvet Revolution. The borders opened. After about a year of her professional work, she pursued her dream to experience life in the U.S. and traveled to California. There she met her future husband, John. They homeschooled their 7 children, who are now ages 14-29. She leads the Classical Historian in business and curriculum planning and technical expertise, and she shares her tips and experiences in homeschooling with other parents.
