Wesley Huff is a homeschooling dad --- as well as a dynamic Christian apologist, public speaker, and the Central Canada Director for Apologetics Canada… renowned for his compelling defense of the Christian faith grounded in historical and textual scholarship.
Born in Multan, Pakistan, to missionary parents, Wesley spent his early childhood in the Middle East, including Amman, Jordan, before returning to Canada. His diverse upbringing in a household where his mother (a missionary kid raised in India) kept texts like the Bhagavad Gita, Book of Mormon, and Quran alongside the Bible, sparked an early curiosity about worldviews.
At age eleven, Wesley experienced miraculous healing from acute transverse myelitis, a rare neurological condition that left him paralyzed from the waist down for a month. This experience, along with a great deal of study and soul searching in his later teen years, solidified his interest in faith and in engaging the beliefs and worldview perspectives of others. He spent his high school years in Northern Ontario and lives in Toronto, Canada, with his wife and three children. Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in New Testament at the University of Toronto’s Wycliffe College, Wesley blends academic rigor with an engaging, accessible style that resonates with diverse audiences, including homeschooling families like his own, as he and his wife are committed to homeschooling their children.
Wesley’s prominence surged in late 2024 after a viral YouTube debate with Billy Carson, which garnered millions of views and caught the attention of global influencers. This led to his historic appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience in January 2025, where he defended the reliability of Scripture and the resurrection of Jesus over a three-hour conversation, amassing over 7 million YouTube views-to-date and potentially tens of millions across platforms, making it one of the widest-reaching gospel presentations in history. He further expanded his reach on Flagrant with comedians Andrew Schulz and Akaash Singh in May 2025, articulating the gospel with clarity and humor, and appeared on the PBD Podcast with Patrick Bet-David, as well as Piers Morgan Uncensored and Breaking Bread with Russell Brand.
His own Wesley Huff YouTube channel is fast approaching 1 million subscribers, with his content, including debates and apologetics videos, accumulating multiplied millions of views - inspiring countless individuals to explore the Bible and faith. Wesley’s ability to navigate complex theological and historical discussions with grace has made him a leading voice in modern Christian apologetics.
