| With over 22 years of dedicated service to her family, Teri has been deeply committed to home educating her children and actively participating in the homeschooling community. Following her extensive experience in home education, she transitioned into a role as a Community Health Educator with a life-affirming non-profit organization. In this capacity, Teri has taught sexual risk avoidance education to thousands of students across various educational settings, including elementary, middle, and high school public schools, private Christian schools, and home education environments. Teri brings a profound understanding of the complex and often contentious nature of sex education in today’s cultural climate. She believes that maintaining moral integrity is essential when addressing this critical topic. Her academic background includes a Bachelor of Science Degree in Community Health Education from Texas A&M University. Additionally, Teri is a Certified Sexual Risk Avoidance (SRA) Specialist and a Certified Life Coach, specializing in sexual health, issues related to sexual trauma, and is the author of Acknowledging Integrity Matters (AIM), a sexual risk avoidance program specifically developed for homeschooling families, co-ops, and churches. Recognizing that many children, teens, and adults face challenges and pain in this area, Teri approaches her work with compassion. She walks alongside individuals, providing education on sexual integrity and helping them recognize their intrinsic value as image bearers of the Creator. |
