Tanya Charlton entered into education with her two sons. She had no good options for their schooling, so she decided to do it herself. She discovered classical education through Cheryl Lowe, who became her mentor when Tanya started teaching at Highlands Latin School (a two-day hybrid school at that point). Tanya was serving as the curriculum director for the school when Cheryl asked her to manage Memoria Press, with the goal of providing the Highlands Latin curriculum to homeschoolers and other schools. Tanya continues to manage the operation of Memoria Press and is the managing editor of The Classical Teacher. She is also a regular participant in the Memoria Press Classical Et Cetera podcast. She is thrilled to have the opportunity to share her passion for classical education and homeschooling. Tanya has a B.A. in English from Milligan College and a B.S. in accounting from Troy State University.
