| Stacey is a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant and current graduate student in the Reading & Literacy program at Cal State Fullerton. She began her OT career at Children’s Hospital of Orange County, where she received specialized training in sensory integration, feeding, neurological development, and vestibular/auditory/visual regulation. When her oldest son began struggling with reading, Stacey discovered how deeply sensory processing affects literacy. This sparked her passion for supporting students who learn differently—not only through compensations, but through addressing the underlying sensory systems that make learning possible. Stacey homeschooled her three children for many years and spent nine years tutoring and directing in Classical Conversations, integrating rhetoric, reasoning, grammar, and writing with sensory-aware insight. Today, Stacey is committed to bridging clinical knowledge with classical education—empowering parents and educators to support the whole child, especially in reading, handwriting, attention, and regulation. In her free time she enjoys paddle boarding, gardening, and time with her family. |
