Pamela Acker holds a Master of Science degree in biology from The Catholic University of America. She has taught science in a variety of settings (including in homeschool co-ops) for thirteen years. Prior to teaching, she conducted research in vaccine delivery using viral vectors, and was briefly involved in researching novel gene regulation mechanisms in nematodes. Miss Acker has recently published two books, Vaccination: A Catholic Perspective and a high school biology textbook that she co-authored with the founders of Angelic Doctor Academy. She now works full time with the Kolbe Center for the Study of Creation using her knowledge of biology to defend the Traditional Doctrine of Creation and a traditional understanding of human physiology as designed by God and not as a byproduct of random evolutionary processes.
