| Lauren Carson has been homeschooling for 3 years, but after 14 years in the public schools, she decided to resign in May 2025 to turn her full attention to homeschooling her 6 year old. In September 2025, Lauren began working with SCAIHS as a part time Special Needs counselor, and she opened a part-time homeschool program, Little Arrows Homeschool Enrichment Program, to support families on their homeschooling journey. Lauren prides herself on using her public school experiences to advocate for homeschooling families. In her spare time, Lauren enjoys spending time with her 6 year old daughter, Lena, and husband, Ricky, cheering on the Carolina Gamecocks, going to the lake, serving in her church, and spending time with family and friends. Rebecca Evans has been homeschooling for 5 years but has over 30 years in teaching experience. After retiring from public school education in 2023, she began working with SCAIHS as a part time counselor and recently moved into a full time to role. She loves working with homeschool families and helping them realize their dream of teaching and learning together at home with their children. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, attending her daughter’s equestrian competitions and spending time with family and friends. |
