Josh Haverlock is the Program Officer for the High School Outreach Team at the Foundation for Individual Rights in Education (FIRE). Working at FIRE provides an outlet for his obsession with individual liberties and the opportunity to speak with students and educators across the country about all things free speech.
Hailing from Syracuse, NY, Josh received his undergraduate degree with a dual major in adolescent education and history from SUNY Oneonta. He went on to earn his M.S. in adolescent education in from SUNY Cortland before moving to Washington, D.C. to intern with the National Education Association.
In his spare time Josh enjoys biking around D.C., playing the cello, being overly competitive at racket sports, and unabashedly cheering on the Buffalo Bills.
