Jill Rigby Garner is founder and chief visionary officer of nonprofit, Manners of the Heart, working to reawaken respect in our society by raising up a generation of StrongHearts, morally courageous children with not just head knowledge to lead, but heart knowledge to lead in the right direction. In addition to the Manners of the Heart elementary school curriculum Jill authored, her parenting books have sold more than 100,000 copies, including the Gold Mom’s Choice Award-winner, Raising Respectful Children in a Disrespectful World. She is currently working on a groundbreaking new book through Moody Publishing for the parents of tomorrows leaders, StrongHeart: Cultivating humility, respect, and resiliency in your child. In addition to countless speaking engagements, she has appeared on the CBS Early Show, Focus on the Family, Faith Radio, Airing the Addisons, Washington Watch, and over 650 radio shows and podcasts. She hosts “HeartBeats,” a daily radio broadcast, heard across multiple platforms. Jill is a founding Board member of the Louisiana Family Forum and served in Bible Study Fellowship for many years, while working to establish the Baton Rouge Christian Counseling Center. Jill enjoys membership in Women in Christian Media and the American Association of Christian Counselors. Jill has aided her community in various capacities, leading the BRRespect movement and serving as a member of the BRAC Education committee. She has been a Bible study leader for more than twenty years, while enjoying leading worship and teaching a unique sixth grade student/parent class for fifteen years. After 25 years of interdisciplinary work with schools and families, Jill is a recognized authority in respect-based Heart Education and was honored as the 2023 Champion for Character: Parents and Families by Character.org.
