Homeschooling was the last thing on Jennifer's mind as she and her husband, Mark, adopted a sibling group of three out of the Texas foster care system in 2007. To facilitate bonding with her then six-year old daughter, she dove headfirst into homeschooling and never looked back. Fourteen years later, and on her last child's senior year, Jennifer is excited to share her love of all things homeschool with others. Jennifer has served as an Essentials tutor, Challenge Director, Support Representative, and most recently as an Instructional Designer for Classical Conversations. The accountability and support of her local community is what she valued most during the hard days of her homeschooling journey. She lives in Cedarville, Ohio with her high school sweetheart, Mark, her senior son, her college daughter, and two Rhodesian Ridgebacks with Star Wars names. In her spare time, you can find her in the garden, growing things she does not eat or exploring hiking trails in Ohio State Parks.
