Jane Hampton Cook’s passion is igniting patriotism and making American history relevant to modern life, news, current events, politics and faith. She is an award-winning screenwriter and author of 18 books, including new books about the American Revolution for ages 12 and up: The Submarine and the Spies: Friendship and Vigilance in the American Revolution and War of Lies: When George Washington Was the Target and Propaganda Was the Crime. She has written screenplay adaptations for two of her books and is actively shopping them to production companies. SAVING WASHINGTON placed third in ScreenCraft’s drama 2018 screenwriting and AMERICAN PHOENIX was a top ten winner in ISA’s Emerging Screenwriters contest in 2020. She has created a new children’s books series called Revolutionary Readers for America’s 250th Birthday featuring books: My American Flag, America the Beautiful, The Pledge to the Flag, My Country ’Tis of Thee, and What’s True about the Red, White, and Blue.
A national media commentator and former White House webmaster, Jane has been a frequent guest on the Fox News Channel, SKY News, C-SPAN, BBC, CD Media, WMAL, and other outlets. She has been a cast member and an on-camera storyteller for several documentaries, including Fox Nation’s WHAT MADE AMERICA GREAT hosted by Brian Kilmeade, THE FIRST AMERICAN, a film about George Washington hosted by Newt and Callista Gingrich.
