Holly Jo Hightchew

The founder of Lighthouse to Literacy, Holly Hightchew, is dedicated to assisting children with dyslexia. After her daughter was diagnosed with severe dyslexia at an early age, Holly was inspired to support not only her child but also hundreds of other children whose talents are frequently overlooked due to their reading challenges. Currently, she trains teachers, tutors, and parents in the Orton-Gillingham approach to enable these students to learn to read effectively. Additionally, she conducts both informal and formal reading assessments. As part of her company's launch, Holly and her team are focused on offering families affordable resources for homeschooling their children. Holly is a certified Barton tutor and has received training from the Academy of Orton-Gillingham.
