About

Gretchen Roe has 21 years of home education experience with her six children, four of whom are now college graduates. With a degree in Psychology and Child Development, she has spent the last 19 years in positions of homeschool advocacy, having a special bond with families of children who have to work harder to learn. A former business owner, she has served on a variety of nonprofit boards. A Consultative Sales Representative with Demme Learning since 2014, Gretchen loves the outdoors, all things furry, and is in the process of perfecting backyard chicken raising, beekeeping, and gardening skills.

Alice Reinhardt wears the hats of wife, homeschooling pioneer, adoptive mom, entrepreneur and grandmother. She and her husband, Mark, began their homeschooling journey in the “pioneer days” of the early 80s. Seven children and 35 years later, she is well past the questions of “is it legal” and “what about socialization”. Alice still enjoys fielding questions from the next generation of homeschoolers. Alice and Mark, along with their children, formed Rhino Technologies in 2000 to offer audio and video recording, production and duplication to conferences nationwide. They have met thousands of families over the years and developed long-standing relationships with many attendees, speakers, and conference organizers. Through these relationships, Alice has come to believe the homeschooling parents need the vulnerability and transparency of those who have made mistakes along the way. She desires to bring understanding and appreciation from a veteran perspective, while supporting new homeschoolers as they carve out their own path. With ten grandbabies, Alice offers a multi-generational viewpoint to the topics she discusses and the families with whom she interacts. Alice brings a passion for Christ, her family and a genuine desire to help new and seasoned homeschoolers enjoy their journey.
