Hi, I’m Greg. I’m blessed every day because my wonderful wife Heather and my amazing son Nate are in my life. For years, I taught college and secondary English studies. From day one, it was apparent that most students struggled with writing. Due to my background in English Composition, I knew this problem was correctable, and it became my mission to make sure that every student who left my classroom could write clearly and effectively. That work started The Baran Method and it continues to drive me to help every child become a successful writer.

Greg has spent many years teaching English Composition and ELA at both the college and secondary levels. From his very first day in the classroom, he recognized how deeply many students struggled with writing. Drawing on his background in English Composition, Greg saw that this challenge was not only common but also correctable. Determined to make a difference, he made it his mission to ensure that every student who left his classroom could write with clarity and confidence. That commitment gave rise to The Baran Method, a practical approach to writing instruction that has helped thousands of children become successful writers.
