Dr. Robert J. Cannon is Vice President of Educational Services and Headmaster at Veritas. He has served in K-12 and collegiate environments for most of his career as both a senior administrator and member of collegiate faculties. He worked with Fortune 500 companies as associate director in Executive Education at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, was vice president at Ridgewater College and the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities System, academic dean at Albright College, and adjunct faculty member in leadership studies with several Christian colleges and universities.
Dr. Cannon transitioned into the K-12 arena following a brief time of service as interim pastor with a fellowship just outside the City of Brotherly Love (Philadelphia). He served as principal of a charter school in the birthplace of the charter movement (Minnesota), and now delights in leading Veritas Scholars Academy as its headmaster.
Dr. Cannon received his undergraduate degree in Psychology from St. Joseph’s University, and later pursued his graduate studies (M.S.Ed. and Ed.D.) at the University of Pennsylvania in multidisciplinary programs under faculty from the Graduate School of Education, the Wharton School, and Penn Law.
“Bob” relishes time with his wife Carrie Ann and their seven much-loved children and enjoys competitive activities at the gym, on trails, and at the lake.
