| Courtney Sanford is an author, artist, and designer who discovered the power of arts integration during her 16 years of homeschooling. She holds a bachelor's degree in environmental design and serves as an adjunct professor of fine arts at Bryan College. Drawing on her background in both education and the arts, Courtney creates enriching, hands-on learning experiences that inspire curiosity and creativity in students of all ages. She is the leader of the Delightful Art Co., where she blends arts and academics in relational online classes, creative curriculum and immersive art retreats. |
Courtney Sanford homeschooled her children through high school and because she was a graphic designer and writer, she integrated art and creative experiences into their education. She incorporated classical and Charlotte Mason theory in her homeschool. After her children graduated, she formed the Delightful Art Co., an online art school which offers arts-integrated classes online to homeschoolers around the world. Students can take art classes that integrate with history, science, poetry, or literature, giving them two subjects for the price of one! She is an adjunct professor of fine arts with Bryan College. In her free time, she enjoys creating large, colorful acrylic paintings and traveling to experience more art, culture, and nature.
