Carol S. McCoy is the co-creator of Steadfast, a high school biblical worldview curriculum that integrates history, literature, writing, apologetics, and the humanities. She believes learning should be an adventure and that variety and creativity are essential ingredients for engaging students and producing truth-seeking thinkers and lifelong learners. One of her main goals in writing Steadfast was to provide a quality curriculum that is engaging and relevant while being user-friendly for both teacher and student.
Carol earned a B.A. in education and a minor in music from Oral Roberts University. It was while attending ORU that her passion for teaching was ignited. Carol taught in public schools for seven years before becoming a full-time mom. She then devoted herself to homeschooling her four children and teaching at a homeschool co-op for more than twenty years. Her greatest joys are spending time with her husband Mark and their four grown children, their spouses, and her growing brood of grandchildren.
