Calvin is the Director of the Conservation Adventures program and the primary writer of the Conservation Science curriculum. Calvin is an educator and curriculum writer who spent ten years teaching high school science courses and creating new science curriculum. Teaching science courses ranging from integrated science to AP Physics has allowed him to work with a variety of students and develop curriculum that is effective and engaging for students with a variety of interests and skill levels. Calvin is an avid outdoorsman and conservationist with a passion for archery hunting as well as fishing for trout and salmon. Calvin holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Grand Valley State University with dual majors in biology and secondary education as well as a minor in geology. He also earned a M. Ed through Bowling Green State University in Curriculum and Instruction and holds a MBA from the University of Texas Permian Basin.
