Opened My Eyes

There is nothing quite like attending a (GHC) Great Homeschool Convention. So many awesome workshops to choose from; the speakers are simply the best; and shopping in the Exhibit Hall is an adventure where I always find new ideas and great convention deals. There’s fresh new info and material every year. You can’t go just one year! Don’t Miss It! You’ll be more equipped, encouraged and energized – both as a parent and as a Homeschooler.

The GHC Texas Homeschooling Convention at the Fort Worth Convention Center is an annual 3-day event that is designed to equip and encourage home schooling moms, dads and families. This popular, regional home school event also draws attendees from 7+ states each year – in addition to the attendees that live in Texas. And, while most attend for all three days, there are also a lot of homeschoolers that can only attend for a day or two.

We understand that, having made the decision to home school your children, you now want to make sure you provide them with an outstanding education – including tailoring the curriculum and other homeschooling resources to your child or children, while also learning best practices and practical, proven strategies from experienced homeschoolers and educational experts that advocate for homeschooling. We also understand that you may also be looking for some solid encouragement from other homeschool parents that completely understand the challenges that you may be facing.

Whether you’re looking for new homeschooling ideas, encouragement from other home school parents, awesome deals on home school curriculum, or practical and proven methods for teaching writing – math – science – reading – or a host of other possible subjects… you’ll be forever grateful that you attended the Texas Homeschool Convention!

The Texas Home School Convention always includes an outstanding Featured Speaker roster, and 100s of home school workshop sessions from which to choose. In addition, there is an incredibly large Homeschooling Curriculum and Resource Exhibit Hall that is always a big hit as our attendees browse and shop for new homeschool ideas and special convention discounts.

One of the great benefits of having 100s of homeschooling workshop sessions on the GHC Texas convention schedule is that home school moms and dads may choose sessions that are particularly applicable to their own homeschooling efforts. We want to make sure that our attendees leave a GHC home school convention having been equipped and encouraged… and having had a good bit of healthy fun and fellowship with other homeschooling friends as well.

As successful homeschooling and successful parenting are so directly related, you’ll be interested to know that our GHC Homeschool Conventions also included a Parenting Track that earns rave reviews from attendees each year.

Many homeschooling families also look forward to enrolling their teens in the “Real Faith for the Real World” Teen Track that is offered at our conventions. This very affordable add-on option is a valuable tool that helps prepare teens for the inevitable challenges to their Christian faith they will face in college and/or in the workforce.

We’ve also arranged for hotel discounts specifically for GHC homeschool convention attendees. With attendees from all over Texas as well as from Oklahoma, New Mexico, Louisiana, Colorado, Kansas and more… these discounted hotel rooms are always welcomed by our attendees. In some instances, a homeschooling family will attend the convention together. And, in other instances, a few home schooling moms will carpool and share a hotel room.

Whatever you do, you’ll not want to miss the Texas Homeschooling EVENT of the YEAR! And, be sure to register now for the best pricing.
