Marisa Boonstra is a homeschooling mom of two and author of Bucking The System: Reclaiming Our Children’s Minds For Christ. She founded Called To Mothering in 2015 to encourage women to find purpose and joy in their God-given calling as mothers, and equip them to fulfill the Great Commission at home. Her ministry provides moms with resources to create Christ-centered homes and raise children with a biblical worldview. A native Jersey girl and Oklahoma transplant, Marisa relies on Jesus and coffee (in that order) to get her through the day. She lives in Oklahoma City with her husband of 17 years and two amazing children.
